The challenge
The client needed both speed and separation: fast restores for everyday mistakes, and copies that ransomware could not reach for the retention the business is obliged to keep.
The approach
Disk handles the operational tier with short recovery times. LTO carries the long tail offline, written on a schedule and verified on retrieval.
The outcome
We ran the first several restores alongside the internal team so the procedure lives with them rather than in a document nobody has opened.
